Beginners Guide
If everything went fine and you've installed WarfareRO without problems by following all the steps in the Getting Started! guide, it's time to proceed to the next chapter!
You just got dropped onto this beautiful (custom) island with a lot of cute monsters around you, the second thing you'll probably notice is a message popping up. You're strongly recommended to read these message and not just click through them, especially if you're a new player. Alright, now let's go~
After reading the instructions in the message, open the 'Newbie Pack' you have recieved and equip (ALT + E and then ALT + Q) the items you in your Eqs tab, (see screenshot) and try to reach Base Level 15 and Job Level 10. Use the Newbie Manual to boost up your EXP gain and, if you get low on health, drink some Red Potions.
Have you equipped your items? Very good! Now it's time to kill some of these bounchy monsters! Try to aim for the 'ring' monsters first (Poring, Applering, Nekoring, Puddingring), and not aim for the Savage Babes and Picky's yet, they may still be too strong so stick to the 'ring' monsters until you've gained some base levels.
After you've gained a base level, you'll receive another pop-up message, it'll ask you if you wish to keep the Tips & Tricks messages enabled. As said in the dialogue, if you are new to WarfareRO, you should keep the messages enabled! By reading these you'll learn a lot about WarfareRO, the general server information and hidden features!
Once you've reached Base level 15 and Job level 10, you'll see yet another pop-up message; congratulating you and then sending you to our main town, Harmonia.
Okay, so you're there now, in our beautiful, peaceful main city. Since you have reached job level 10, we should get straight to a job changing! Head to the building that says "Job Master - Resetter - Rental - Platinum Skills" right from the center of Harmonia and enter the Warp Portal.
Head north of the building and find the Job Master NPC. Mind you though, before he let's you pick a job make sure you spend all your skill points (ALT + S) into the "Basic Skill" skill. If you've accidentally put a skill point into "First Aid" or "Trick Dead" use the Stat & Skill Manager NPC (also located into this building) to reset your skills and put all of them in your "Basic Skill" skill. Then talk to the Job Master again and pick the class you want!
You've now become a first class character, congratulations! This is where your real journey begins, purchase a weapon from the Weapon Dealer NPC (make sure it can be equipped by your class!). Done that? Good. There are three things you can do now:
1) [Recommended] Talk to the 1st Class Helper (in this Job Building with the Quest mark above his head) and do as he instructs. To see what this leads to please refer to the First Job Quest page.
2) Head back to Harmonia and talk to the Mission Board NPC. Completing a few missions will help you level up and get useful items.
3) If you don't want to do missions or quests and explore fields and dungeons by your own, that of course is a possibility as well. However, missions and quests may be more rewarding and are suitable for your level!
All that being said, you should have some sort of idea now of what to do. WarfareRO, of course, is not limited to doing missions and one job change, but if you've read the dialogue messages well you should already know that!
