Archer Quest
This is a mini (unrepeatable) quest to help you getting started, you'll get a few useful tips about your class which will aid you during your journey.
Only Archers below level 40 can accept this quest! If you are level 40 or higher, these NPCs will not give you the option to do a quest!
After completing the quest, you'll receive the following:

Step 1

The first step is to stay in the building where you've changed your job. Look for the 1st Class Helper NPC (Indoor5 44, 48) and talk to him - he'll have a quest mark above his head.
If you've read what he said, you know you should now head to south Payon and search for a Archer named Fletch. Let's do that!
Find the Warper > Cities > Morroc.

Step 2
| Great, you're now in Payon! Let's take a look at the mini-map, you were told to head south, so head to the red mark. Ah there he is, Fletch! Talk to him and see what he has to say. You'll notice that he ends the chat with a task to gather 5 Tree Roots from Willows. |

Step 3
| Leave the city of Payon through the east or south warp portal. This warp leads to a field where you'll find several monsters, including Willows! Slay a few of them and pick up their (5) Tree Roots, once you have done so, return to Fletch. |

Step 4
| Fletch will tell you that you have done a great job and awards you with the following items: 1x Archer Figure [0] 1x Great Bow [2] 1x Muffler [0] 100 EXP / 150 J. EXP And that completes the Archer starters quest! Well done! |
